Hi. A dear friend was in/on Diego Garcia - 1978 timeframe - Kenny Elliott. Does anyone remember him or have any pics/stories his family might enjoy. He was killed in a motorcycle crash on Feb 2, 1986. Thanks!

I served from 73 to 76 and was the guy that always played guitar, sea lawyered and played mickey mouse at muster on my trumpet. Looking for my old friends that I had fun with and played music. I keep in touch with Terry Hart and John Goslin. Just got contact info for Brian Williams and Mark McQuire while researching today.

I just came across this site. My late husband, EO1 Lawrence N. Brown, USNR, was with 133 for a whilce. Can't remember the exact dates. He retired in 1984 after 21 years of service. Larry was a diabetic thanks to Agent Orange. He died 05/24/2008 due to complications from this disease. At the time he was 100% disabled. He hadn't been able to work since 12/2000. Larry was always proud of his seabee career. Our son was a seabee for 3 years. Helped build detainee camps at GITMO after 9/11. Our daughter served in the Navy also. She was a gas turbine mechanice on LCAC's. Did a 6 month deployment to Persian Gulf and was detoured when the Tsunami hit. I served 3 years also, that's when Larry & I met. We are all proud of our service, but none more than Larry. He is greatly missed.

Howdy!

I would just like to say that this is really a neat site! I was a part of NMCB-133 from 95' through 98'then did a short stint in the reserves.

Although, I have lost contact with several good friends, I have kept in contact with a few folks (Bill Sinciboy, Greg Weirs, Aaron Mitchel). It still inspires me when I think of the bonds that were created in those days and how they continue to be strong. What a great time in my life!

Perhaps this site will help me find a few of my old buddies.

Anyway, if anyone remembers me or would like to remember the good times, shoot me an email.

Wes Promnitz
